WEEK TWENTY-FOUR
(February 19- 25)
I always get on here and DOUCHE AROUND for hours before writing this. Maybe that's why I don't finish it until 6am every Wednesday morning. So many distractions online!
I was actually just reading PEREZ HILTON. Kudos to him for providing us with a FEEDING-TUBE for current events. He and JON STEWART actually make people want to pay attention to the world. It's so important, especially these days. We love PEREZ. He gave us our first big break when he covered our ADVOCATE MAGAZINE feature on his site in 2006.I hung with him last time he was in New York. We talked about how all we do is work and when we have time off we like to do lame things like play board games because we're both actually big dorks. He invited me to MTV STUDIOS in Times Square to celebrate NEW YEARS EVE. It was glorious. We are especially psyched for Perez right now because he has become a member of THE FAMILY: He just started doing A&R for WARNER BROS. RECORDS.
This has been another NON-STOP week. We have been tying up all of the loose ends with the songs that are currently in production and finalizing plans for the last ones to be completed. EVERYTHING IS STILL ON SCHEDULE! I have recorded vocals for nearly all of the songs. There are just a couple left AND there is some potentially exciting news about production up our sleeves, but let's wait to see what happens with it before SQUIRTING. More on this soon ...
I have to say that the HIGHLIGHT of this week was hearing the vocal for our song "GOODBYE, GOODNIGHT." Tom says he got goosebumps when he heard it. I think I'm able to keep a pretty objective standpoint on my performance and I have to say I was very excited about it. When it sounds off, I know it (like the experience I went into last week). But when it's on... it's ON baby! I can't wait to let you hear it :)
"Goodbye, Goodnight" was inspired by the feeling of knowing that you have to go, but not being able to pull yourself away. Like, for instance, you are dating someone and the relationship completely blows a la the cons vastly outweigh the pros, but you stay together out of COMFORT. We've all been there.
Until next week!
xx

P.S. So who are we thinking for PREZ? Did you watch the Donkey debate tonight? I saw parts of it and I have to say that I was very impressed by HILARY. The best advise I can give is that, if you can, you should vote. PLEASE take some time to research the candidates (even John McCain). Don't allow yourself to be swayed by the opinions of others. Our future depends on it.
P.P.S. On an even MORE worldly note, The Dangerous Muse MUGS have arrived. They should be available for purchase by the first week of March. Just in time to fill one up with some COFFEE on ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
P.P.S. Join the Dangerous Muse FACEBOOK Group and get my blog sent directly to you! We have just over 100 new members since last week! Let's keep it up :)
